James Floor Covering started out over 40 years ago as a family operated grassroots flooring company. As a father, mother, and two son team, we offered residential customers a wide variety of tile, stone, carpet, and hardwood services. In the late 1990’s, we shifted our focus to high-end multi-million dollar custom homes.
This environment enabled us to display the true quality of our workmanship through a series of elaborate and intricate flooring designs.

When the real-estate bubble burst and residential work slowed, we pioneered into the high-end commercial flooring industry. The company went union and we haven’t looked back since. In just 25 years we’ve grown from a small family startup to a well established company with over 100 dedicated employees.
